ALCM, LLC (ALCM) construction management staff played a vital role in completing the new construction of the $5.7 million McKeesport Fly-Over Bridge in Allegheny County on schedule and on budget.
Working closely with the contractor, utility companies, local authorities, regulatory agencies and railroads, ALCM assisted on the following project components:
- ALCM was responsible for coordinating and scheduling a pre-erection meeting for a safe girder installation over active CSX and Union Railroads.
- ALCM arranged for on-site soil sampling and TCLP analysis for hauling residual waste from the project to an approved waste site.
- ALCM prescheduled utility meetings with the contractor to expedite the relocation of existing utilities.
