Hazelwood-Almono
The Almono project was a brownfield reclamation project at the former LTV Steel Mill site. Our contract included 160 ac demolition, earthwork, erosion control measures and clearing. We raised existing storm and sanitary manholes to 1 ft above rough grade. We removed concrete, railroad ties and hard slag four feet below grade. We installed three sediment basins and seeded and mulched the site.
